The Tharps - Keepin'n touch

Wow! It has already been almost 10 months. It sure doesn't seem like it. The kids have made it through a whole year of school - everyone passed - praise the Lord!! Phil is loving his job. I am loving being at home with the kids so far this summer. They finished school on May 24th. They have a loooooong summer vacation. School doesn't start until August 20th. The Lord has blessed us with a great church. Karah just took her first trip with the youth group. They went to the Lake and had a wonderful time. They went boating, jet skiing, tubing and swimming by day and played pinball, pool, ping pong, air hockey and uno most of the night. Everyone came back safe and sunburned. The next youth trip is to Georgia for the Southeast youth conference. They are very excited. Ashley is looking for a job but it is hard for a 15 year old to find one since they only fit into a certain work schedule. Phillip is playing on the worship team, sometimes drums, sometimes bass. Hannah learned how to swim last year but this year she learned how to swim underwater. Lauren learned how to swim this year. They love swimming!! They have a pretty good tan so far. We have a new addition to our family. Our dog, Millie, she is sooooo sweet. She has turned out to be a great dog.
We are hoping to keep in touch with everyone on this blog. I am hoping to add pictures someday. Dial up does not work good with websites. We'll talk soon.
